Hospitals Should  Consider The Poverty Level  While Billing For Healthcare Services –Gov. Fintiri.

Adamawa State Governor Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has expressed happiness over the appointment of Prof. Adamu Bakari Girei as Chief Medical Director, (CMD) Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, MAUTH Yola.

The Governor who expressed the happiness while responding to audience when the management of the Teaching Hospital paid him a courtesy call in his office Tuesday called on Teaching Hospitals and Federal Medical centers to consider the economic hardships and poverty bedeviling the people while billing for their Healthcare Services.

Fintiri described the appointment of Prof. Bakari as CMD of MAUTH as the best choice considering his wealth of experience and medical and administrative services. 

“I know Prof. for about two decades when he served as a technical adviser in the committee for the establishment of Adamawa-German Hospital during the Murtala Hammanyero Nyako led government for which I was a lawmaker” Says Fintiri
