Dodo Ends Halima’s Mourning With Maryam

Adamu Muhammad Dodo has eventually, silently, ended wife Halima’s mourning with Maryam, two years later; not even the Periscope Global made a headline on the seeming confidential development.

Halima A.A Duhu, popularly known as Da’a, died at childbirth, referred to as maternal death or maternal mortality; the fifth baby happily survived and is named after the her.

The Director Information and Public Relations with Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Yola and publisher The Periscope Global, while in mourning, would tell those interfering with his personal life; intimidating him to move on by finding to his children another mother, that he’s still searching, even though he’s apparently adamant.

When asked about a year ago, Dr Dodo confided in me that his next, like the previous wedding, would be devoid of avoidable deviating innovations. I joined in the prayers that he would meet his mate breeding the same spirit.

A year later, using his handle on May 13, 2024, Dodo revealed in his “WEDDING WITHOUT INVITATION” that those he assigned to go ask for the groom’s hand have come with a glad tiding that marriage contract was entered, he’s to go pick his wife anytime he’s prepared without innovative processions.

Months later, on a Sunday, at short notice; no daukan amarya, no fansan ido, the groom simply, silently excused his In-laws to pick his bride Maryam, popularly known as Mamma, to her matrimonial home.

Lovely Mamma is a sister to Alhaji Abubakar Bobboi, a Director with the Adamawa State Inland Revenue and current Chairman, Aliyu Mustapha Old Boys Association (AMOSA).

Dodo the critic was “hit with heated criticisms,” he said. He however did not take any as critical thinking worthy, provided that the bride heartily endorsed the stainless, religiously accessible marriage rites.

In his words, “It’s indeed a wedding without an IV card. We however appreciate the population that would have participated in the wedding from beginning to the Ameen as much as we solicit for your continued prayers. Peace!”

I commend the bride and groom for the courage against financially tasking innovations and to Sir Dodo, I say congratulations.
