The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has released the results of the screening exercise for the ongoing recruitment of qualified candidates into the state workforce.
Out of a total of 96,102 applicants, 52,003 have been cleared to proceed to the next phase of the employment process.
The Commission outlined several reasons for disqualification, including the submission of applications by candidates with NCE qualifications, which were not part of the approved criteria for this exercise. Other disqualifying factors include mismatches between applicants’ fields of study and the qualifications required, age limits exceeded by some applicants, incorrect or incomplete document uploads, applications from individuals who are not indigenes of Adamawa State, and submissions from those already employed by local government councils.
In a statement, the government reiterated its commitment to transparency and due process, encouraging all applicants to ensure they meet the necessary requirements to avoid disqualification. “We urge all applicants to ensure they possess the requisite documents and qualifications to avoid disqualification,” the Commission stated.
The 52,003 qualified applicants are expected to comply with further instructions and requirements that will be issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) as the recruitment process progresses. Fulfilling these conditions will help streamline the next steps and prevent unnecessary delays or setbacks.
