The Adamawa Emirate Council, Yola has approved the appointment of Alh. Usman Aliyu Marafa (Madawaki Adamawa) as a member of the Council with immediate effect.

The appointment letter dated February 26th 2024 was signed and presented to the appointee by the acting Secretary, of the Adamawa State Emirate Council, Yola Alh. Kabiru Bakari at the office of the Hon. Commissioner Ministry for Local Government Alh. Ibrahim Mijinyawa

According to the letter, Alh. Usman Marafa was appointed as a member of the Adamawa Emirate Council in recognition of his Sterling Contributions and unflinching loyalty to the Council.

Until his appointment, Usman Marafa was an adviser on chieftaincy to the Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and also doubles as Madawaki Adamawa.

Those who witnessed the presentation of the appointment letter were Hon. Commissioner of Ministry For Local Government Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa, Permanent Secretary of Ministry for Local Government Musa Abba Kiri, Council Chairman Toungo Local Government Hon. Suleiman Gankuba Senior Staff of the Ministry and representative of the Emirate Council among others.
