The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process for all applicants, in line with directives from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

In a statement issued to the press, the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Abubakar Umar Maiha, assured the general public and prospective candidates of a level playing ground in the ongoing recruitment exercise.

“We are committed to ensuring a fair and credible process for all applicants. This exercise is being conducted under the clear directive of His Excellency, Governor Fintiri, to uphold transparency and equal opportunity,” Maiha stated.

According to the Commission, over 20,000 applications were received within the first 24 hours of the portal opening, reflecting the high level of interest in the 4,000 available vacancies across various departments.

“The volume of applications prompted us to upgrade our systems to prevent glitches and to accommodate the surge in traffic,” Maiha added.

The application window will remain open for two weeks. Successful applicants will be shortlisted for interviews and subsequent documentation in the coming weeks.

The Commission urges all interested candidates to submit their applications promptly and avoid last-minute rush.
