
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State on Monday evening hosted members of the State Executive Council (SEC) for an Iftar (breaking of fast) in Yola, as part of activities marking the holy month of Ramadan.
The event, held at the Government House, brought together commissioners, and other top government officials who joined the governor in observing the spiritual and communal significance of the fast-breaking tradition.
Speaking at the gathering, Governor Fintiri emphasized the importance of unity, reflection, and service to humanity during Ramadan. He urged members of his administration to continue working with dedication toward the development of Adamawa State.
He also called for prayers for peace, security, and prosperity in Adamawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
The event featured prayers , who reminded attendees of the blessings of Ramadan and the need for leaders to uphold justice and fairness in governance.
The Iftar gathering is part of Governor Fintiri’s annual tradition of engaging with different groups during Ramadan to foster inclusivity and strengthen government-community relations.
