Governor Fintiri Affirms Commitment to Expanding Emirates, Chiefdoms Without Fear or Favor

In a bold declaration that underscores his administration’s commitment to inclusivity and cultural heritage, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri announced that the establishment of emirates and chiefdoms in Adamawa State is a permanent fixture.

During a recent gathering with community leaders and stakeholders, the Governor emphasized that there is still ample opportunity for additional chiefdoms and emirates to be recognized, provided that the communities meet the necessary criteria.

“The emirates and chiefdoms have come to stay in Adamawa,” Governor Fintiri stated emphatically. “There is still room for more. If you deserve to have a chiefdom or emirate, this government is open to your requests, and we are prepared to create more.” His words resonated deeply with many in attendance, reflecting a commitment to enhancing traditional governance structures that resonate with the diverse cultural fabric of the state.

The Governor reassured citizens that the process for establishing new chiefdoms and emirates will be conducted fairly and transparently. “We will continue to do it without any fear or favor,” he asserted.
