
The Governor disclosed this when he received the delegation of Yusrah Muslim and Youths organisation on a courtesy visit at government house Yola.
The Governor who was overwhelmed with the visit that coincided with the holy month of Ramadan thanked the Yusrah Muslim and Youths organisation, recalling the massive development being witnessed in Adamawa State was part of keeping his campaign promises for good governance.
Governor Fintiri recalled that at the inception of his administration, the State was in distress condition coupled with the activities of insurgency, but brought the situation under control.
The Governor described Youths and Women as the most vulnerable in the society, hence the need to sponsor their education and recruit more teachers to Man the newly built institutions, which one among them is dedicated for women across the State.
The Adamawa State Governor also urged the visitors to continue in prayers and advocacy for mutual understanding among the people.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation who spoke on behalf of Amirah, Professor Fatima Joda hailed Governor Ahmadu Umaru through various interventions in Adamawa State.
Part of the interventions she listed to have revived women businesses to include, Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency, infrastructural development among others.
Professor Fatima earlier explained that the organisation engaged in assisting Women and Youths on the part of skills acquisition and empowerment programmes.
