Gov Fintiri Inspects Galadima Aminu Way Underpass Project

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has restated his unwavering dedication to transparency and accountability, emphasizing his resolve to ensure prudent use of public resources and deliver on his mandate to the people of Adamawa State.

Returning from an official engagement in Abuja on Monday, the governor promptly undertook a two-and-a-half-kilometer walk to personally inspect the ongoing underpass construction along Bank Road in Jimeta, Yola.

Addressing journalists at the site, Governor Fintiri expressed satisfaction with the pace and standard of the project. He disclosed that the contractor has pledged to complete the work by the end of June, after which the team will proceed to another site in line with the administration’s broader infrastructure development plan.

Highlighting the importance of direct project assessment, the governor noted that such inspections enable his administration to deliver truthful updates to the public, reinforcing his commitment to openness.

He concluded by assuring residents that he remains firmly committed to accountability, good governance, and responsible leadership.
