Gov Fintiri, A.T Shehu, Others Observed Funeral Prayers Of Late Babayola Mustapha

The remains of Alhaji Babayola Mustapha, former district head of Girei and Ubandoma Adamawa has been laid to rest on Thursday amidst eulogies from sympathizers.

Alhaji Babayola Mustapha who died after a protracted illness at the age of one hundred and three this Wednesday was buried in Yola leaving behind children, and siblings.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State was among hundreds of mourners who observed the funeral prayer in respect of the deceased at Lamido Adamawa’s palace in Yola.

Other dignitaries at the prayer include the State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Barister Tahir Shehu, some Commissioners, party leaders and politicians among others.

Governor Fintiri described the deceased as an accomplished man with positive impact on the state, saying his integrity and indefatigable attention to peaceful society will no doubt be missed sorely.

He prayed to God to grant late Babayola Mustapha eternal rest and Aljannatul Firdausi and the family left behind, the courage to bear this irreparable and monumental loss for Adamawa State.

The deceased was a father to Alhaji Ibrahim Babayola Mustapha, a popular politician in Adamawa State and the twenty twenty three Senatorial Aspirant of PDP for Adamawa Central zone.
