The Director General of Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) Dr. Michael Zira has joined eminent stakeholders to witness the coronation and presentation of staff of office to His Royal Majesty (HRM) Prof Bulus Luka Gadiga as the Gbege Ka Michika describing the event as historic in the existence of Michika race.
He also described Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as a bulldozer, bridge builder, fearless and daring for creating additional Chiefdoms, Emirates and Districts, fulfilling the aspirations, cravings and yearnings of the people over ages, adding that the creation of Michika Chiefdom will give the people a sense of belonging and foster peace, unity, growth and development of Michika land.
The PAWECA Boss pointed out that because of the liberation Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri brought to them they decorated him with a traditional title as the “Lika Michika,” which means the Shield of Michika land.
Similarly, the Director General PAWECA expressed his heartwarming felicitation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the good people of Madagali over the coronation and presentation of Staff of Office to the Ptil Madagali, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alhaji Dr Ali Danburam,
He said, just like other newly created Chiefdoms and Emirs, the people of Madagali have been set free and can now breathe Fresh Air; praying that God should grant the Ptil Madagali the wisdom to lead his people towards the path of economic growth, sustainable peace and unity devoid of ethnic and religious bigotry.
