
The Borno State Government has procured 19 Toyota Camry 2024 model for its judges and khadis.
The vehicles were presented to them at a brief ceremony at the Borno State Government House in Maiduguri.
According to a statement by Dauda Iliya, the governor’s spokesman on Saturday morning, the donation was part of the state government’s commitment to strengthening the judiciary and ensuring effective service delivery.
The vehicles’ keys were handed over to Barrister Hauwa Abubakar, the attorney general and commissioner of justice at the ceremony.
Represented by his deputy chief of staff, Dr. Babagana Mallumbe in presenting the donation, Governor Zulum said that the gesture is a testament to his support to the judiciary.

‘This donation is part of our efforts to enhance the judicial sector and ensure that our citizens have access to justice as we continue to recover from 16 years of insurgency,’ Mallumbe said.
