ADSIEC Chair Muhammad Umar Restates Commitment To Ensuring Free, Fair & Credible Election.

The Chairman of the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission Alh. Muhammad Umar has restated the commission’s commitment to provide free, fair and credible election on the forthcoming local council Polls scheduled for Saturday 13th July 2024.

The ADSIEC Boss gave this assurance while featuring on live Hausa Programme “Jihar Mu A Yau” broadcast on Adamawa radio, ABC Yola.

Alh. Mohammed Umar, assured that the whole process would be credible and transparent, and pledged that any political party that emerged victorious would be declared winner.

He added that screening exercise has been conducted to ensuring that all aspiring candidates meet the necessary requirements and standards to run for office, thereby upholding the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

The chairman explained that all necessary measures to ensure the peaceful conduct of the election have been taken.

He added that special contact were displayed to alert them for any abnormalies that might be encountered

The election is scheduled to hold on Saturday 13th July 2024 where 12 political parties Wil participate.
