ADAS Programme Meets Collateral Managers, Other Stakeholders, Deliberates On Operational Issues.

The Adamawa State Agribusiness Support Programme stakeholders has held a meeting with its Credit Guarantee Scheme implementation collateral managers, participating Banks and Insurance Broker.

The meeting chaired by ADAS Programme Principal Consultant Mal. Aminu Bahari deliberated and reached agreement on updating agreement guidelines/documents, actionable points, official introduction and the steps forward.

The Principal Consultant who commended the state government for doing all it takes to ensure the success of the programme, challenged all collaborators to consider their work as a call to national duty as many states await the outcome of the programme in Adamawa to emulate the kind gesture.

Mal. Buhari added that if succeeded, the programme have positive socio economic impact to both government and the citizens at large.

The Economic expert called on all stakeholders to use managerial approach and transparency while discharging their duties.

On his part, Dr. Faisal who represents Livestock 247 collateral managers, expressed their readiness to justify the confidence repost in them by ADAS and other stakeholders.

Contributing, Mr. Godfrey who is the Insurance Broker, challenged the collateral managers to provide adequate security at the warehouses and animals holding bays a cross the market to avoid the activities of scrupulous element among other bad eggs.

On his part, the representatives of Standard Microfinance Bank which is the participating bank, commended ADAS-P for providing good structure and enabling environment for smooth implementation of the programme.
