ADAS Flags off Fertilizer Financing Programme.

The Adamawa State Agribusiness Support Programme ADAS-P has flagged off it Fertilizer Financing Programme aimed at supporting farmers to have easy access to fertilizer.

The flagging of ceremony held in Yola, the state capital is being implemented in collaboration with the Adamawa State Agribusiness Cooperative Financing Agency targeting one thousand farmers a cross the state in the year 2024.

Speaking during the flagging off ceremony, the head of Component Four ADAS Programme Mr. Praise Dauda, restates ADAS Programme commitment to collaborate with relavant stakeholders and organisations to enhance food security in the state and the country as a whole.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the chairman Adamawa State Community Based Seed Producers Mal. Baba Sahabo commended ADAS Programme for the dedication and commitment towards strengthening agribusiness in the state.

The chairman who pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them by ADAS called on beneficiaries to use the fertilizer for purpose intended to avoid regretting.

The disbursement will be extended to some local government areas on Monday 22nd July 2024.

The Programme is in line with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s led administration to boost agribusiness in the state.
