Adamawa Govt’ Commences Construction Of World Class Mega Veterinary General Hospital~ Tijjani Maksha.

As part of efforts to boost livestock and aquaculture in Adamawa, the state government has flagged off construction of world class mega veterinary general hospital at the state capital located in Jambutu, Yola North local government area.
The state Commissioner for livestock and aquaculture development Hon. Tijjani Maksha dropped the hint while featuring on live Hausa radio programme “Jihar Mu A Yau ABC Yola” broadcast under the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media Alh. Muhammad B. Tukur this Saturday.
The Commissioner who explained that the veterinary hospital’s construction that is on counterpart agreement with the world bank’s L-PRESS project has commenced four days ago.
Maksha added that the veterinary hospital is one of the five world class hospitals to be constructed in Nigeria with Adamawa having one after the payment of counterpart funds.
He said the Ministry’s achievements under the Fintiri’s led administration includes construction of veterinary diagnostic center in Gombi and Cigari which has been commissioned, having a grazing reserve in Gongoshi among others.
The Commissioner who explained the Ministry embarked on enlightenment Programme do ensure peace between farmers and herders, called on all to live on peace with one another.
The Program takes the air on ABC Yola radio on Saturdays by 11:am-12-00pm and Sundays by 8:30pm-9:30pm
