ADAS-P Organizes A Sensitisation Workshop For Agricultural Stakeholders In Adamawa Northern Sen. District.

As part of efforts to kickstart the implementation of the Adamawa State Agribusiness Support Programme designed by the state government, ADAS Programme has organized a Sensitisation meeting with all critical stakeholders in agricultural activities in Mubi Emirate.

Those involves in the meeting held at Mubi North LGA Sacretariate are District Scribes, Agents, Directors Agric,  Sectional Heads of Livestock and Agric,  from Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Michika and Madagali Local Government Areas respectively.

Others are Implementation committee, Heads of Component of ADAS Programme among others.

Speaking, the technical facilitator Dr. Ahmed Garba who described the program as that of the state government, said ADAS is working round the clock to facilitate and link farmers with relevant organization to support them.

Garba says a highly standadised Database and structure will be created for easy access to farmers.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Head of Component Two Mr. James Birdling advised all to wake up to their expectations for the success of the programme.

Contributing, the Directors Chieftaincy Affairs Mal. Ibrahim Yaro, challenged the participants forward ADAS message down to farmers at the grassroots.
