4 months withheld salaries: Tinubu directs Ministers of Finance, Education to work out modalities for payment

President Bola Tinubu has directed the Ministers of Finance, Wale Edun and Education, Prof Tahir Mamman to work out the modalities for the payment of four months withheld salaries to the university non-teaching staff.

This is as the organized labour has reported the Commission of Police, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Command to the President over the forceful stoppage of the peaceful protest to register their grievances over their withheld salaries.

President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the closed-door meeting between the President and the organized Labour.
