Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who described the importance of the bridge that is on a federal road, said it is the major route that leads to Sambisa forest and the mandara mountain where most of the boko haram insurgents are hiding and if the road is allowed to cut off, not only the people of the two communities will be in danger, but the security agencies in that area especially the army will find it very difficult to carry out their operations.

The governor assured that the rehabilitation work will commence immediately as state government is already in talks with the North East Development commission NEDC being the commission with the mandate of carrying out this kinds of projects as they are positive too about seeing that the bridge and the road is being repaired.
