NGOs, CSCs and INGOs Commends Gov Fintiri for Providing Enabling Environment In Adamawa

Civil Society Organizations, Non-Governmental Groups and International Non-Governmental Organizations in Adamawa have commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for providing an enabling environment for the smooth conduct of their activities within the state.

The commendation was made during a key stakeholders meeting aimed at resolving certain issues confronting the organisations in the state, converged by Special Adviser to the Governor on Coordination of NGOs Asmau Durnin

The stakeholders who expressed their readiness to synergize with the state government also thanked the Special Adviser for her foresight in conveying the meeting.

Earlier, the Special Adviser Asma’u Durmin commended NGOs, CSOs, and INGOs for their various humanitarian assistance in the state.

Asma’u added that the meeting is aimed at consulting stakeholders to articulate contributions for an action plan.

Asma’u Durmin expressed happiness and stressed that unity Among all must be sustained for the betterment of the state.

On his part, the Chief of Staff Govt Yola Dr Edgar Amos Sunday who is heavily represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Good Governance Dr Adamu Babikkoi appreciated Asma’u Durmin and said the meeting could not have come at a better time than now considering everything is on the desk to support the Fintiri’s developmental efforts.

Country Director IMMAP INC Amar Osman commended all partners working for the good of the state and challenged all to demonstrate a model.

Speaking Separately, the UNESCO representatives and Executive Director of Dada Foundation For Educational Empowerment DAFEE Dr. Usman Ahmad Dadah who described the meeting as timely, said this is part of the yearning and aspiration to have a special Adviser on such important Organisations.
